Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing support, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting engineering activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Technician

Location: FRANKLIN, MA

Pay Range:

1st shift - $26.10/hr MON-FRI 6:45am-3:15pm

2nd shift - $28.00/hr MON-FRI 2:45pm-11:15pm

3rd shift - $30.77/hr. (must have recent and relevant experience working 3rd shift to be considered) SUN-THUR 10:45pm-7:15am 

What's the Job?

• Perform functional testing and analysis of products to ensure operation and reliability.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures and basic troubleshooting from design, test, and checkout to modification, fabrication, and assembly tasks in the production of products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot failures using diagnostic software and test equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, quality, and productivity.
• Transfer daily status information to other shift personnel to ensure seamless operations.

What's Needed?

• Technical background with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to move a fully loaded board rack on wheels (max load of approximately 800 lbs).
• Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 2 boards in EMC approved carriers (max load of approximately 6 lbs).
• Proficiency in using test equipment and diagnostic software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and mentor others to achieve results.
