Tax Senior

-This is with a Public Accounting Firm and requires Public Accounting experience. 

Job Title:  Tax Senior 
Job Location: REMOTE -if you have an active CPA-
Job Salary: $125k-$155k (DOE)
Requirements: 2+ Years of Public Accounting Tax Experience

 

Position Overview
The Tax Senior will be responsible for providing high-quality tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing primarily on S-Corporations and Partnerships. This role involves leading tax compliance and consulting projects, ensuring accurate and timely filings, and supporting clients with strategic tax planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns for S-Corporations and Partnerships.
• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients, including tax planning and strategy development.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members, promoting their professional development.
• Stay updated on current tax legislation and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filings.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding of tax implications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with a focus on S-Corporations and Partnerships.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and compliance issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
