Bestica is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a per diem / prn nursing job in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Role Overview & Key Details

• Position: PICU Registered Nurse (PRN/Full-Time)
• Contract: 1-year Government Contract with a potential 2-year extension (3 years total)
• Schedule & Experience Flexibility is Key

• We understand that great nurses come from diverse backgrounds, and we are highly flexible regarding both scheduling and specialized experience:

   

  Scheduling: We can offer both PRN and Full-Time options.

  • PRN Shifts: Normally 0645 - 1915 or 1845 - 0715.
  • On-Call: One shift every 12 weeks, rotating.

   

  Experience:  

• While PICU experience is preferred, we are actively considering candidates with strong experience in related fields, including:
• NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) with some pediatric experience.

  Core Qualifications:

  To be considered for this vital role, candidates must possess:

• License: Full and unrestricted RN license in any U.S. State, Territory, or D.C.
• Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited Nursing program.
• Experience: A minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a PICU/NICU/ICU setting within the last 24 months.
• Certifications (Must be maintained): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. (Commit to obtaining the missing certification immediately)
