As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Patrol Retail/Malls Part-Time in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a retail environment. Your responsibilities include conducting visible patrols throughout the location and maintaining a strong presence to support a secure atmosphere for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following protocols for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for unusual activities, report incidents, and interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and help to maintain an orderly environment within the retail setting.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required for incident response and documentation.
• Complete all required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner per Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience. 
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
