Serendipity Wines is seeking a passionate, curious, and motivated individual to join our team and pursue a career in wine sales within a successful and growing company. The ideal candidate will have experience in wine distribution, restaurant, or retail wine service, and be interested in outside sales at the distributor level. Distributor experience is highly regarded but not mandatory. Fundamental wine knowledge, outside sales, and service experience are expected. This position is based in San Francisco, and familiarity with the local market is required. Responsibilities Selling: Generate sales by planning your time effectively and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets. This includes visiting assigned accounts regularly, opening new accounts, delivering sales presentations, answering questions, and overcoming objections. You will have access to catalogs, sales tools, pricing information, and an online ordering system to place orders, view inventory, and access account history. Merchandising: For some off-premise accounts, responsibilities include merchandising or servicing, tailored to each account's needs. Depending on your territory size, you may be driving up to 400 miles per week. Customer Service & Relationship Management: Manage all aspects of customer service and foster strong relationships with clients.
