The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is looking to hire a full-time Water Quality Specialist to join our team in the Water Resources Department. The Water Quality Specialist is responsible for field surveying and water sampling in the Everglades via truck, airboat, and swamp buggy. If you love working outdoors…this is the job for you. Data entry and management are also key responsibilities. General knowledge of wetlands and the South Florida ecosystem is preferable. Experience with GPS, GIS, and coding is a plus. Candidates should have good writing and computer skills, with an emphasis on Excel, and have a BA or BS degree in related science field. A valid FL Driver's license is required. This position is an excellent entry-level position with on-the-job training. Great benefits package offered. Salary is negotiable depending on experience with a range of $58,000 to $60,000 annually.
