Inlet Energy provides exceptional customer service to retail, commercial, and government customers in Alaska. Inlet's team of professionals has the most Certified Lubrication Specialists (CLS), Oil Monitoring Analysts (OMA-1), and Machine Lubricant Analysts (MLA) in the state. Inlet Energy is based out of Anchorage with operations in Kenai, Fairbanks, and Prudhoe Bay. The inlet is also a major fuel distributor for the road system from the Kenai Peninsula to Fairbanks.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate position entails a diverse set of responsibilities, ranging from delivery operations to warehouse management. This role requires a keen attention to detail, dedication to safety, and effective collaboration to support the company's operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Apply manual pallet jacks to load/unload trucks and transport individual drums.
  • Offload packaged products into customer stores or warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of all delivery documents.
  • Pick orders, operate forklifts, and repack bulk lubes and greases.
  • Perform sweeping, data entry, organizing, and pulling delivery runs.
  • Participate in inventory management adhering to FIFO principles.
  • Support maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Engage in safety meetings, promptly report injuries, spills, and hazards.
  • Identify and communicate potential job hazards.
  • Collaborate within the team to accomplish tasks effectively.
  • Communicate job hazards and safety concerns.
  • Strategically operate fluid transfer pumps.
  • Stage, load, and pull package truck delivery runs.
  • Acquire proficiency in antifreeze and WWF mixing and testing techniques.
  • Plan warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Accurately perform periodic inventory and maintain records.
  • Order inventory based on procedures, turnover, and demand.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and update inventory records.
  • Receive and ship inventory and packages accurately.
  • Mark materials with identifying information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including dock and yard areas.

CDL is a plus for the following duties:

  • Operate delivery trucks for transporting oil, glycol, and packaged products
  • Deliver full drums and totes to designated customer locations.
  • Pump bulk fluids from the truck to customer tanks via hoses.
  • Ensure cleanliness of trucks and facilities, including truck washing.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logbook
  • Enforce to DOT Regulations
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent for warehouse-related duties.
  • Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
  • Valid Class B CDL with X endorsement preferred not required
  • TWIC, Hazmat and Hazwoper can be acquired after hire.
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  • Able to complete Forklift Training within the first week for certain roles.
  • Forklift Certificate can be acquired after hire.
  • Port Proxy Card, Physical Card, and other certifications as applicable.
