About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Social Media Intelligence. The successful candidate will be a social analytics expert with a strong background in monitoring, measuring, analyzing, and interpreting social data across various media channels. This role requires a data-driven individual with a passion for emerging tech and media, who can bring a fresh perspective and is adept at using social data to tell compelling stories. The VP will be responsible for leading a team, staying on top of day-to-day deliverables, and ensuring that social intelligence is aligned with clients' business needs. A key aspect of the role is to mentor and coach the team, as well as to represent the team to external clients. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field, with a preference for Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Marketing/Advertising. A minimum of 10 years' experience in social media intelligence and analytics, particularly within a Fortune 500 brand, is required, with at least 5 years in a managerial and client-facing role. The ideal candidate will be an expert in social listening platforms, paid social media, and influencer measurement, and have a deep understanding of social media best practices and trends. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams. The role demands a world-class customer service approach and the ability to present to executive-level clients.
