As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Elite in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure transit environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols and delivering outstanding customer service and communication to those you encounter. In this armed post, you will play a vital role in upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for all.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned area and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by the site, using discretion and professionalism in all interactions.
• Write detailed incident reports and document observations, activities, and/or unusual occurrences as required.
• Assist with crowd management and/or direct individuals as needed to maintain orderly conduct within the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Operate communication devices and security-related technology to maintain contact with Allied Universal management and other personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
