Job Description

This position is a seasonal position with a limited duration during the holiday season. Your expected termination date is January 15, 2026, or sooner depending on business needs. Your anticipated weekly work hours will vary as a seasonal employee, but it is anticipated that you will work between 30 and 40 hours a week. Start of shift is at 9:05am with a 10-hour shift; could be less or more as this is a performance-based job. Of course, actual hours may vary depending on the Company’s business needs.

Performance Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Load packages into the delivery vehicle with efficiency and accuracy.

• Deliver 150 to 200 stops per day in residential and commercial areas.

• Provide excellent customer service during every interaction.

• Maintain a high level of safety, quality, and delivery productivity.

• Operate handheld devices for route navigation and package scanning.

• Ensure the safety of self and others during deliveries and while driving.

• Navigate a variety of weather conditions including heat, rain, and cold.

• Ascend/descend stairs and enter/exit a delivery vehicle up to 200 times daily.

• Perform physically demanding tasks: lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs, stand/bend/stoop throughout the day.

• Responsibilities are not limited to those listed and may evolve as operational needs change.

Requirements

• Verification that you are at least 21 years of age.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (no CDL required).

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 pounds per package and 60 pounds per tote.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (except extreme events like hurricanes/tornadoes).

• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and remain on feet for extended periods.

• Strong time management, attention to detail, and reliability.

• Proficient using smartphone-based applications and handheld technology for routing, scanning, and communication.

Additional Information

Benefits 

During your seasonal employment, you will not be eligible for most employee benefits offered by the Company including medical benefits and PTO except to the extent required by state or local law. 

  • Pay is $21 an hour/biweekly basis with paydays on Friday.
  • Bonus structure based on performance.

 

Pre-screening & Hiring Requirements

  • Seven-year criminal background check. (Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable state and federal law.)
  • Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report. (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position.)
  • Must have basic English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana).
