A K-12 social worker position is available for the upcoming school year in Hartford, CT. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive social work services within the school setting to support student success and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments of students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Developing and implementing individual intervention plans
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and community resources to address students challenges
• Providing counseling and crisis intervention services
• Facilitating support groups and classroom presentations on social skills and wellness topics
• Maintaining accurate case records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) with appropriate licensure or certification to practice in school settings
• Experience working with K-12 students, families, and education professionals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally
• Familiarity with educational and mental health resources in the community

Location:

• Hartford, Connecticut serving a K-12 student population in a school environment
