Job Description We are seeking a seasoned offsite Property Manager to oversee The Montecito (116 units) and The Montecito II (64 units), two affordable multi-family senior communities located in Hollywood, CA. This role involves managing a well-established operational community and a newly opened building that welcomed residents in 2025. This person will oversee a staff of five (5): Compliance Specialist, Assistant Property Manager, and two (2) Maintenance Technicians.
The Montecito, an iconic property managed by Thomas Safran & Associates for over 27 years, offers a strong community with a rich history. The Montecito II features onsite case management and supportive services for residents who reside in the 32 permanent supportive housing (PSH) units.

Responsibilities: - Planning exciting resident activities to create a warm community environment
- Supervising on-site maintenance staff and projects to preserve the property in a beautiful condition
- Retaining resident files and conducting income certifications according to program guidelines
- Maintaining resident relations in compliance with Occupancy and Fair Housing guidelines
- Reviewing monthly financial reports and preparing annual budgets
- Marketing and leasing vacancies to maintain a 100% occupancy rate
Experience and Skills - High School diploma/GED required. College degree or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience preferred.
- Two (2) years' solid management experience in hospitality, hotel or apartment community experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Section 8 and/or Tax Credit affordable housing programs preferred but not required. We provide amazing training and mentorship.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office required. Yardi preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills.
