Job Description

Looking for experience in steel fabrication and estimating preferably but will consider all similar construction trades. Seeking someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and looking for long-term career path.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel take-offs from engineer designed drawings.
• Compile material take-offs, subs, and purchases into estimates to present to customers.
• Effectively communicate with clients to deliver estimates in a timely and professional manner.
• Work with customers to communicate and meet deliver schedules.
• Keep updated schedules of future work and current status of work in progress.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the steel fabrication process to include material processing, fitting, welding, equipment operation and CNC equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate technical drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Projects
• Adobe
• Structural Material Manager
• Autocad is a plus but not mandatory
