Location: Framingham, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $35 - 45 per hourWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Development Designer to support the creation and execution of technically accurate artwork for our product programs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Development team from initial concept through artwork execution and prototype development, ensuring design precision and brand alignment throughout the process.The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. You should be proactive in anticipating design challenges and developing effective solutions that support timely and successful product launches. This is a great opportunity to bring ideas to life in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Responsibilities:Develop concept boards and design artwork, utilizing freehand sketching as well as Photoshop/Illustrator.Selects color palettes; requires knowledge of current color and trend information.Exposure to working with overseas vendors preferred, but not required.Knowledge of competitive products and brands.Qualifications:Degree in Design or equivalent work experience.Ability to sketch technical flats in Adobe Illustrator.Ability to fill technical flats in Adobe Illustrator.Develop full size artwork layouts in Adobe Illustrator with detailed call-outs.Knowledge of garment construction - sweater knowledge is a plus.Detail Oriented.Effective communication skills.Ability to communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas.Strong organization and follow through skills.Works well in a team environment.Ability to handle multiple projects.Strong interpersonal skills.Demonstrates expertise in their functional area.Knowledge of trend and color.3+ years in Product Development with relevant product categories.
