We are looking for an experienced Process Operator with experience in overseeing machine operations, using hand tools, and strong attention to detail to be a part of our client’s team. This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, and 401k.
The Process Operator will oversee the production of a specialized product. The Machine Operator will use measuring devices to ensure the quality and specifications of the product. The Machine Operator will use hand tools to calibrate, adjust, and perform simple preventative maintenance on the machinery. To be successful in this role, the Machine Operator will need to enjoy a fast-paced environment, be organized, detail oriented, and focused on efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor pouching machinery efficiently to meet production and quality
standards.
• Set up machines according to job specifications and ensure proper running speeds.
• Conduct regular quality checks and maintain production reports.
• Perform machine changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Monitor materials for defects and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Train new team members as needed.
Qualification & Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in a Process Operator role.
• 3-5 years of previous supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
• Basic math, computer, and hand tool skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
