ABOUT THE JOB
We hire drivers to deliver our pizza. We offer a great flexible schedule and the hours you’re looking for. You’ll have plenty of time for school, friends, or a second job.
Job Requirements And Duties
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must possess navigational skills: read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take deliveries safely and efficiently to customer destinations.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training: Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication skills: Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Motor coordination: between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Qualifications
Must be available for at least 30 hours per week for 1 year for full‑time benefits. (Part‑time is also available).
Must have your own well‑maintained vehicle.
Must have your own insurance.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year if 19 years or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years if 18 years old.
Must have less than 2 tickets in the last 2 years or 3 tickets in last 3 years.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have good mobility.
Must be comfortable driving/delivering in moderate Midwestern weather conditions such as snow and rain.
Must consent to background check.
WORK CONDITIONS
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.
SENSING
Talking and hearing on telephone.
Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
Depth perception.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
TEMPERAMENTS
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking: For short distances for short durations.
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Carrying: Large cans, weighing 3 pounds 7 ounces; occasionally pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds; trays of pizza dough carried three at a time over short distances, weighing ~12 pounds per tray.
Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dolly up to 24–30, force up to 7.5 pounds.
Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder.
