The position location will ideally be Stamford, CT , or New York City with a hybrid work schedule available. What are the responsibilities of the Performance Team? The Performance team at OSAM is responsible for timely and accurate performance reporting and related analytics for all accounts and strategies. The team also works to provide valuable insights to clients to explain account performance and demonstrate the firm’s value-add. Additionally, the Performance team is responsible for the firm’s annual GIPS verification. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, a drive to find valuable insights from data, and an interest in constant process improvement. The candidate ideally has a background of 2+ years in a related role. Desired skills include an understanding of math and Excel alongside some level of programming capabilities in SQL and C#. What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Performance Analyst: Demonstrating how performance impacts the client experience by fulfilling client requests, supporting RFP(s), and providing performance insights to both internal and external clients. Developing ways to proactively answer questions before they arise. Performance reporting across all accounts and strategies on a monthly and quarterly basis Supporting timely delivery of marketing materials Data validation and developing processes to enhance the accuracy and speed of performance delivery Developing and maintaining new metrics and tools to demonstrate the value our products and services provide clients Annual GIPS Verification and ongoing GIPS compliance, including maintaining and developing GIPS composites Integrity of data on Canvas Performance Portal What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful? 2+ years of related experience in a Performance, Client Service, or Data-intensive role Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or related analytical discipline High level of attention to detail Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Ability to solve problems and meet time-sensitive deadlines Some level of coding knowledge (SQL and C#) and a desire to learn Understanding of or familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming concepts desired, but not required Understanding of investment performance calculations Compensation Range: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary — designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
