Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs a range of duties to include but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, specimen procurement and specimen processing.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
No experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of phlebotomist experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred. Experience in a hospital is preferred. Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on the job training or through a phlebotomy program preferred.
