With a reputation for excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our reach into new construction markets and are seeking a results-driven Salesman/Business Developer to join our team.
The New Construction Roofing Salesman/Business Developer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the construction sector. This role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and project managers to secure new roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction sales, a strong understanding of roofing systems, and the ability to drive growth in a competitive market.
Develop and implement strategies to generate new construction roofing sales.
Identify and target potential clients including general contractors, developers, and architects.
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Attend pre-bid meetings, network within the construction industry, and track upcoming projects.
Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and project bids.
Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, project management, operations) to ensure accurate pricing and smooth project execution.
Achieve sales goals and revenue targets set by management.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
Minimum 35 years of proven sales experience in roofing, construction, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (metal, foam, single-ply, BUR) preferred.
Established network within the construction industry strongly desired.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally for client visits and site meetings.
