Job Description

Barkley Films is looking for a talented motion designer to inspire and elevate every project they touch. From concept to execution this position will be able to contribute across the board to branded campaigns working between designers and filmmakers to create awe-inspiring work. This candidate should be a motivated self-starter looking to push the boundaries on everything from social to broadcast to award case studies and more. Exploration, inspiration, and experimentation in your craft are a must. Responsibilities: Concept, design and execute a wide range of motion graphic animation across digital platforms. Projects will include editing and adding motion to video, compilations, and sizzles, producing original video content for social and overall motion graphics and video support. Develop, design, and create next-level motion graphics and animations to help service our brands, as well as new business and marketing needs. Provide the highest level service to clients in a proactive, creative, and professional manner Provide input on project plans as needed Brainstorm other applications for motion across our output, with opportunities for longer-form projects as well. Manage multiple projects concurrently Qualifications: Proven experience in motion design and animation for client-based agencies and/or broadcast/film in a deadline-driven environment Experience in video editing, with an eye for storytelling Good sense of timing and screen composition Significant knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator A strong sense of curiosity with a commitment to continuous learning and growth Ability to think creatively beyond the client's initial brief Ability to work independently and under close direction Excellent organizational and time management skills Client management experience and interpersonal skills a must Degree in Media Arts (or equivalent) is required 3 years experience working in the digital design services industry Knowledge of the principles, techniques, technology and current standards of video production and shot composition Additional Software Knowledge/Skills: Cinema 4D or other 3D applications Experience with color correction, color treatment, VFX and music selection Knowledge of video codecs and formats as well as video/broadcast and web standards Working knowledge of incorporating sound effects and music into animations. The annual gross base salary range is $62,000 - $91,000 USD. This range represents the anticipated target salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and geographic location. Salary is one component of BarkleyOKRP's total compensation package, which includes multiple health insurance options, flexible PTO, life insurance, and 401K.
