Salary: $24.00 per hour

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will participate in the design, review, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of numerous cutting-edge robotic systems.All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment
• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations
• Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world

Mid-May (May 18, 2026) to early August (August 7, 2026). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. In-person, Monday - Friday in Arvada, Colorado.
