We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions. Construction law experience, a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
• Position requires the ability to: take and defend depositions (party, witness, and expert); research and draft motions; handle hearings; draft evaluation reports; interact with a variety of experts; and bill time efficiently. Trial experience a plus.

​​ Qualifications:

• 5-15 years of litigation experience
• Previous experience in civil defense litigation
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to draft evaluative reports
• Experience in securing depositions
• Able to keep track of time spent on a task
• Experience in participating in hearings, and trial
