Landscaper
Job Summary
Looking for experienced landscaper to work primarily on maintenance team and assist with landscape Design/Build projects as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and appearance of residential and commercial properties by mowing, trimming and fertilizing lawns, spring and fall cleanups, pruning and maintaining planting beds. Additional duties include raking and seeding lawns, laying sod, planting trees and plants.

General Accountabilities

Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features.

Mows and edges lawns, using power mowers, push mowers, and/or edgers.

Cares for planting beds by laying mulch, removing weeds, and trimming trees and plants as needed.

• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Planting flowers, trees, and groundcover.

Operates powered lawn equipment, such as mowers, weed whackers, hedge clippers, and pruning saws.

• Mixes and sprays or spreads fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees. (Applicators License required)
• Maintains the ground equipment which may include repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Reports any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or repairs to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Perform snow removal in winter months

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years previous work-related experience. Must possess valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving a truck and trailer combination

Skills

• Safe operation and control of commercial maintenance equipment, truck and trailer, 
• Experience operating Skid Steer, Excavators, and Plows a plus
• Applicators License a plus.
