Shift and Compensation

Schedule: 3:00pm 11:30pm, including weekends.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $1.50/hour differential pay after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Know laboratory procedures and processes per protocol and manuals.
• Assist in site preparation and documentation for studies.
• Prepare collection tubes, vials, and study supplies.
• Monitor storage temperatures and address excursions.
• Maintain logs and inventory of samples and supplies.
• Properly label and package study materials.
• Obtain and process samples according to protocol, ensuring centrifuge settings are correct.
• Perform inventory checks and order supplies as needed.
• Store samples properly, monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures, and keep logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED; phlebotomist certification preferred.
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Working Conditions

• Indoor office and clinical environments.
• Physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Attendance as scheduled is essential.
