Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT professional with one of our clients with a solid background in ERP systems management , who will play a key role in our transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Business Central . This position also provides support across our IT infrastructure and serves as a backup to the Systems Administrator. As a growing manufacturer of food labels with multiple locations, this role offers excellent growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and support ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics GP , Business Central , and proprietary production software , along with related SQL databases .
• Lead software implementations, upgrades, and system migrations .
• Support network infrastructure , server environments ( VMware, virtual servers ), and ensure overall system security.
• Deliver day-to-day support for PCs, printers, email systems, telephony , and remote access tools (VPN) .
• Administer cloud and security systems, including Microsoft Azure , FortiGate firewalls , and Synology backup and recovery solutions .
• Identify, research, and implement new technologies to drive operational efficiency .
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories , technical documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants on specialized IT projects and system enhancements.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional IT duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Windows Server , Azure , Microsoft 365 , Office 365 , and VMware ESXi .
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Business Central , ideally in a manufacturing environment .
• Background in software implementation and migration is strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical users.
