Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Welcome Home Healthcare is seeking a qualified and compassionate Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Northern Idaho Panhandle . If you are an experienced and autonomous nurse who enjoys working independently and building strong patient relationships, this is a great opportunity for you.
We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive care and support to patients in Kootenai, Bonner, and Boundary counties.
What You'll Do
Provide compassionate patient care in their homes, including OASIS assessments, medication management, and ostomy/catheter care.
Specialize in advanced care, such as wound care/wound vac, tracheotomy care, and surgical aftercare.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (SN, PT, OT, ST, MSW) to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and community resources.
What We're Looking For
License: A valid Idaho nursing license and relevant certifications.
Experience: Experience in patient care and assessment is required.
Skills: Proficient in wound care, catheterization, and IV insertion.
Software: Experience with EMR systems such as Well Sky, Epic, or AIDA is preferred.
Attributes: Excellent critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills. Must be autonomous and enjoy working independently.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: Variable pay per visit model.
Benefits: Sign-on bonus after one year, paid vacation, and paid mileage reimbursement.
