Overview Our Associate will be given a broad range of responsibilities as follows: Responsibilities Prepare insightful and creative marketing documents and presentations, including pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations and client/board presentations. Perform complex financial analyses and modeling with minimal supervision. Manage and prepare financial models and business valuations (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, public comparable and precedent transactions analysis). Conduct extensive industry and company research and analysis. Identify and select prospective targets, buyers and investors based on specific criteria. Support senior bankers in their business development efforts and origination including interaction with current and prospective clients. Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits and pitches. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in investment banking and M&A transactions. Results-oriented and focused on producing and delivering high quality materials. Strong accounting and financial statement analysis and modeling skills with attention to detail. Strong expertise in valuation methods including discounted cash flow, LBO models, public comparable and precedent transactions analysis. Superior communication skills, with exceptional writing capability. English Major a plus. Capability to work under pressure and deadlines, to set priorities and to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Creativity and intellectual curiosity. Strong work ethic and high motivation. Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information. Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred but not required. Outstanding computer skills and exhaustive knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and Word processing software programs. Series 79 (or Series 7) and 63 licenses required. Proficiency in French or German a plus. U.S. work authorization required.
