Direct message the job poster from Creative Cove Inc. Our Massachusetts home furnishings client is looking for a Graphic Designer with 5+ years' experience for an immediate three month contract. Projects will include: web, emails, social, paid media and some print. You'll be working closely with an Art Director on a 360 campaign across hundreds of cross channel assets. Industry experience in fashion, retail or home furnishings is required for this role. Design projects across websites, social channels, emails, and paid, as well as print assets. Assist with production and support Creative Director and creative team in a fast paced environment. Ensure all-around consistency in voice, tone and brand Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines Produce sketches, storyboards, rough sketches to visualize ideas Develop and maintain an understanding of marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and our audiences Work with the art department to create original graphic content for the company s website, social media pages and other marketing materials Manage multiple projects for yourself and those that you are mentoring Review graphic materials to assess their validity and appropriateness for our brand and provide feedback when edits are needed Responsible for the growth of designers, providing feedback, direction, training, and coaching Maintain graphic consistency across all deliverables Collaborate with the rest of the creative and advertising teams across different types of mediums Required Qualifications Background in design and advertising for retail or similar industry is a must Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to develop ideas with exceptional design quality through a broad range of print and digital channels (will not consider applicants without an online portfolio) Excellent communication and presentation skills, persuasive in presenting ideas to internal teams Able to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines Critical eye for detail and strong organizational skills Comprehensive awareness of current and emerging design and technology trends A creative thinker, able to bring fresh ideas to all design challenges At least 5+ years of experience of Graphic Design, preference given for retail, furniture or fashion experience Experience with In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Abode XD is a must for this role.
