The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure profitability, outstanding customer service, and compliance with brand standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
This role involves supervising and developing management and staff teams, managing financial and operational performance, and fostering a positive work environment. The General Manager works closely
with ownership/leadership to set goals, create actionable plans, and drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, profitable, and high-quality service.
Lead, coach, and develop Crew and Shift Managers.
Hire, train, and develop management and staff to build a strong, future-ready team.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations; maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and verify deliveries for quality and accuracy.
Monitor restaurant finances, including cash handling, food costs and preparing reports.
Implement and uphold operational procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Collaborate with ownership to set and achieve restaurant goals; create and execute plans for continuous improvement.
Organize staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and flexibility.
Participate in marketing initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Previous General Manager experience, preferably in high-volume quick service restaurants or hospitality.
Proven leadership and team management skills; ability to coach and motivate others.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience with inventory, budget, and financial management.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 18 years or older.
2 years of experience in quick service restaurants or hospitality.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
