Overview Knowledge Services’ Corporate Headquarters is currently seeking a contract, full-time “ Assessment Interviewer .” If you enjoy working with people, possess the ability to prioritize and are task oriented, this is the job for you! Knowledge Services has been awarded a contract in collaboration with the State of Missouri to provide reporting on aging and disabled citizens across the state through the administration of a survey. The data will be collected from interviews of participants, which will be conducted by qualified individuals serving as Assessment Interviewer’s . Knowledge Services is seeking individuals who will contact individuals via phone to explain the survey, administer the survey for participants who choose to complete the survey telephonically on the initial call, and travel to predetermined locations, including homes and other facilities, to conduct interviews of participants who wish to complete the survey in-person. This contract position will last approximately 4 months, while training and per diem costs will be covered for travel. The length of the assignment could vary dependent upon several variables. Responsibilities Assessment Interviewer Attributes: Professionalism – a confident, businesslike presentation and strong delivery are vital to ensure participants are willing to schedule an appointment for an interview. Empathy – Demonstrate patience and empathy to the individuals with whom you are speaking is key to maintaining engagement with the participant. Enthusiasm – the Research Analyst’s interest in the survey, or lack thereof, will be immediately conveyed to the participant; if the Research Analyst doesn’t seem interested in the survey, the participant won’t either and will avoid scheduling an appointment for an interview. Technical Literacy – a Research Analyst must have the necessary technical skills to effectively operate a PC, enter data into a database and use Microsoft Office Suites. Communication – the Research Analyst must have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with in-field interviewers. Job Duties Responsible for making phone calls to complete surveys and facilitating in-person appointments as requested by participants. Provide timely reporting of data collected and ensure all privacy agreements are followed. Ensure integrity of all data relating to program is accurately reported. Provide proactive status communication with Project Coordinator. Provide excellent customer service to participants. Conduct interviews in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Fulfill all interviewing requirements by visiting all locations scheduled, documenting all data required, and delivering data in timely fashion. Qualifications Requirements and Qualifications: Must be professional and have demonstrated strong commitment to exceptional customer service. An ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, accurate, and detail oriented. Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced, self-managed environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to interact with co-workers and management in a positive and cooperative manner. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must have reliable transportation to drive up to 1 hour to conduct interviews if requested. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
