E-Commerce Lead
Full Time/ Direct Hire
Target Salary: $130-$165k + bonus (dependent on experience level)
Hybrid 3 Days/ week in NYC Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute e-commerce strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Leverage sales data and analytics to inform marketing spend and future business direction.
  • Recommend and implement growth strategies across new channels, customer segments, and markets.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the online store, including product listings and inventory management.
  • Optimize website user experience (UX) to improve conversion rates, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor integration of e-commerce platforms and third-party tools, collaborating with technical teams as needed.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Develop and manage the e-commerce budget for efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on digital marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain the site content calendar and contribute to creative workflow processes.
  • Manage and optimize the martech stack for maximum marketing effectiveness.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
  • Advise on brand blog cadence and content workflow processes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using analytics tools to identify trends.
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the online shopping experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce management, preferably within wellness or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving key e-commerce metrics in new or high-growth business environments.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience with UX/UI principles and website design is advantageous.
  • Budget ownership experience with a focus on ROI optimization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central is beneficial.
  • Experience developing global e-commerce strategies is a plus.
  • Positive attitude with strong sense of ownership and ability to drive initiatives forward.
