This position ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and identifies, investigates, and reports adverse events and potential risks. This role also collaborates with various departments to implement risk mitigation strategies, and oversees the management of claims and legal matters related to risk. The Value You'll Bring To The Team Oversees the system for identification and analysis of loss or injury exposure in conjunction with the Risk Management team. Maintains both mandatory and voluntary incident reporting systems to identify and evaluate unit-specific risk issues. Provides analysis on areas of risk throughout the enterprise to identify, evaluate, eliminate, or reduce incidents in high-risk areas. Maintains documentation on identified trends and sentinel events, referring to the appropriate committee, manager, or individual for follow-up. Participates in Risk Management education for new employees, current personnel, and providers to enhance attention to prevention of potential hazards.
