Overview:
CorpsAfrica is seeking an intern to support its Development team. This is a great opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students interested in international development, non profit work, media, philanthropy, or data systems. The intern will work 10-15 hours per week in a hybrid setup, and a stipend will be provided.
Location: Washington D.C.
Classification: Hybrid (Onsite: 2 days a week)
Period: 3 Months
Commitment: 10-15 hours/week
Compensation: Stipend included
Reports to: Impact and Strategic Partnerships Manager
Responsibilities:
Research foundations and donors aligned with CorpsAfrica's mission
Update grant tracking systems
Organize deadlines and funder profiles
Draft summaries of potential funders
Assist with proposal development and other research tasks
Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate student in non profit management, international affairs, etc.
Excellent writing and research skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a remote and hybrid setting
