Responsibilities Providing protection for various protectees. Conducting criminal investigations related to U.S. financial obligations. Planning and executing security for National Special Security Events. Qualifications U.S. citizenship required. Valid driver's license required. Ability to carry and proficiency with a firearm is mandatory. Age between 21 and 37 at the time of conditional employment offer, with exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service or veteran's preference. Must obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance. Visual acuity of at least 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 in each eye. Hearing must not exceed 25 decibels in specified ranges. Pass a drug test before appointment and undergo random testing thereafter. Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC in Glynco, GA, and 18 weeks at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD. Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and abroad. Registered with the Selective Service System or exempt.
