Ortega Law Group has a team of experienced attorneys who have represented hundreds of clients in matters ranging from deportation defense to adjustment of status. We handle a variety of court and USCIS proceedings, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and family petitions.

Clients remain in contact with their attorneys throughout their entire case, ensuring personalized attention.

Drawing from experience as a former police officer and prosecutor, our attorneys are prepared to advocate effectively on behalf of clients facing misdemeanor, felony, and federal criminal charges.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney located in Phoenix, AZ. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and representing clients in both immigration and criminal court. Daily tasks include managing cases, collaborating with clients, and preparing legal documents. The Associate Attorney will work closely with the team to ensure optimal case outcomes.

Travel to courts will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience not required
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Member of the Arizona Bar Association in good standing
