Job Description

The Agency Middle Office team is responsible for managing all aspects of the Admin Agency function and serves as the central point of contact for the borrower, lenders, and 3rd party consultants. This is a newly formed team that will provide critical client services when ING serves as Administrative Agent in a financing. As an Associate, your primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of the Administrative Agency function and assist junior team members when needed. The Admin Agent will serve as the central point contact for the borrower and lenders, as well as 3rd party consultant. The emphasis of the team is to provide a high level of service to all external stakeholders and coordinate with ING’s internal teams, such as Origination, Lending, and Operations. Responsibilities include reporting directly to the Head of Agency Middle Office and supporting ING Capital LLC in the management of the Administrative Agent role; supporting the Sectors & Lending Teams in overseeing and supporting all facets of the ongoing lifecycle management of a deal where ING Capital LLC serves as the Administrative Agent; coordinating the set-up of the Administrative Agent function on transactions; reviewing and understanding various legal documents; reviewing new loan borrowings to ensure all conditions precedent are satisfied; managing Amendment/Waiver/Consent requests; coordinating with loan operations team to manage deal information; covenant monitoring, review, and distribution of Reporting Requirements; organizing and leading lender calls; coordinating secondary trades when Agent of a deal; maintaining and organizing deal data sites; and staying up to date on organizational operating policies and procedures. Qualifications include BA/BS or equivalent experience, 4+ years of Administrative Agent experience preferably in Project Finance, Real Estate Finance and/or Corporate Finance, familiarity with Cash Sweeps Term Conversions & Tax Equity Closings is a plus, experience reviewing and interpreting loan documentation, and proficiency in customer service, organization, communication, and loan systems such as Debt Domain, Loan IQ, ACBS.
