Heidelberg University is accepting resumes for an adjunct pool in the School of Behavioral Sciences. An Adjunct Instructor in the School of Behavioral Sciences provides instruction to undergraduate or graduate students in the following course subjects: criminology, psychology, sociology and/or counseling (graduate only). Adjunct instructors will teach part-time on an as-needed basis and should be willing to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online, and at varied class times that may include evenings according to program needs.
Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Knowledge of operation and use of various office equipment, including, but not limited to: personal computer, including spreadsheet and word processing software, integrated database software, fax machines, copier, telephone, scanner, and printers. A valid driver’s license may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use arms, hands and fingers to operate and manipulate equipment generally found in an office setting. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Mental demands include varied degrees of occasional stress while performing job duties.
